Saving For A Rainy Day
There’s always a rainy day in the forecast. Saving up for that day can really help. Pacific Spruce Federal Credit Union savings products make it easy and stress free. That’s because opening one of our savings or checking accounts is as simple as calling the branch or stopping by and letting us help you choose the right account for your needs.

Fully Protected
The money you save at Pacific Spruce is insured up to $250,000 by the National Credit Union Administration (NCUA), and up to $250,000 on certain single retirement savings accounts. In addition, joint accounts may receive additional insurance.

Share Draft Accounts (Checking)
Looking for a way to pay your bills without adding additional expenses, a Pacific Spruce Checking Account can do the trick. That’s because our checking has no monthly service fees, no minimum balance requirements and no per-check charges. Add a Visa Debit Card to the account, and you’ll never have to worry about writing a check again. Overdraft protection provided from your Share Savings Account. Available to members 18 or older.

Share Accounts
When you open your Pacific Spruce membership, your Share Account is where your initial $5.00 is deposited. After that, it’s there to help you save for a rainy day, back up your checking account in case you incur an overdraft and more. Dividends are paid quarterly based on the average daily balance in your account, so every dollar you save in the account can really add up fast.

Additional Share Accounts
There’s more than one way to save for the future, so we offer more than one savings option. Like our Christmas Club Account, Vacation Club Account, Traditional IRA (Individual Retirement Account), and Money Market Account. All come standard with the full protection of the NCUA, and a promise from us to provide as much interest as possible for your dedicated savings.

Youth Share Accounts
Got a young person in your life? Get them their own Pacific Spruce Youth Share Account. You’ll be staring them down the road to financial independence with a simple $5.00 deposit. Just be sure you’re the legal guardian or parent to open the account. There are no monthly service or withdrawal fees for this account. Just plenty of good reasons to encourage those under 18 to save for the future.
