As a member-owned cooperative, we believe every member deserves equal access to the credit union’s products, services and information. We work continuously to improve the accessibility of pacificsprucefcu.com and the Pacific Spruce mobile app, and to make the Toledo branch a welcoming space for everyone.
Standards we follow
Our goal is to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). These guidelines explain how to make web content accessible to a wider range of people with disabilities — including blindness, low vision, deafness, limited movement, learning disabilities and cognitive differences.
We also follow applicable requirements of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act, and NCUA guidance on accessible financial services.
Accessibility features on this site
- Semantic HTML headings, landmarks and labels for clean assistive-tech navigation.
- Visible keyboard focus indicators and a “Skip to main content” link.
- Color contrast that meets WCAG 2.1 AA for body text and interactive elements.
- Descriptive alt text on meaningful images; decorative images marked
aria-hidden. - Form labels associated with their inputs; clear error messages.
- Support for the prefers-reduced-motion system setting.
- Responsive layouts that work at 200% browser zoom and on small screens.
Assistive technologies
The site is designed to work with the latest versions of popular screen readers and browsers, including:
- JAWS and NVDA on Windows
- VoiceOver on macOS and iOS
- TalkBack on Android
- Keyboard-only navigation on all major browsers

At the branch
Our Toledo branch at 727 NW A Street offers:
- Accessible parking near the entrance.
- A step-free, wheelchair-accessible entry and member service area.
- Large-print forms and statements upon request.
- Assistance with filling out applications and reviewing disclosures.
- If you’d like to plan ahead, call and we’ll make sure the right staff are available when you arrive.
Known limitations
Despite our efforts, some content on the site may not yet fully meet WCAG 2.1 AA. We are actively addressing these areas:
- Some older PDF forms may not be fully tagged for screen readers — ask us and we’ll provide an accessible alternative.
- Third-party embedded content (such as map iframes) is governed by the third party’s accessibility practices.
